So this week was our four month adjusted follow up with the doctor. Jackson is doing amazing minus his head control and tummy time. Even though I was prepared to hear that we needed to work on his head control and tummy time, it still stung. It felt like I as a mother wasn't doing everything I am supposed to. When we got home Robert had set up his jumparoo and high chair. Jackson is madly in love with his jumparoo, he just laughs ands coos the entire time. All Jackson needed was to hear the doctors day, " He has to get better with his head control and tummy time." Since that appointment his head control has gotten so great. Tummy time is a whole different story. His doctor told us that we needed to place him on his tummy for one minute at least ten times a day. We have kept up with it but he screams like a crazy baby. I feel so awful that we have to do the tummy time but that is the only thing we have delayed.
Surgery is coming up this Friday and I am so ready for it to be done and over with. I just know Jackson is going to be super cranky the day of and day after. I am hoping we leave super early Saturday morning because I don't want to spend two whole days in the hospital. We have seen enough of the hospital to last a lifetime.
My sweet Cayden the day of my Baby Shower!
