Busy Bees

It has been a crazy of couple of days for the Thomas Clan. I should focus that more on Jackson. Yesterday was day two after surgery and everything was going good until his four o'clock feeding he wasn't taking any formula down his g-tube. Instead he was pushing out a yellowish green discharge, this was a huge deal. I called Robert promptly from his second job and told him it was time to go to the ER. While neither Robert or I are huge fans of the hospital we know we have to do the best for our son. It was discovered that Jackson had an obstruction in his intestines. We were admitted into the hospital and given a room on the seventh floor. Early this morning they did a upper GI. They did the upper GI in hopes of finding the point in which the intestines were blocked. Luckily it was a simple surgery to repair his blockage. Now I sit next to my sweet baby boy in the PICU and thank God for looking out for Jackson. Jackson is very doped up and will be for the evening. Tomorrow he will start back on feeds and hopefully we will be home within the next couple of days. Thanks for all the prayers again!!!!!

Surgery Update

Surgery was yesterday and everything went very well. Jackson was super cranky after he woke up. Otherwise they watched him for a couple of hours and sent us on our happy way. That's right folks, we didn't have to stay the night!!! He was doing great on breathing with .1liters of oxygen so they didn't see any reason to keep him over night. That made Robert and I a bunch of happy parents because we have had our fair share of hanging out in the hospital. His tummy is still super sore and he is gonna be on jumparoo restriction for three weeks. Well this little mister is being a cranky boy so I better go. Thanks for the prayers.
